With five Democrats joining the GOP-led vote to repeal Obamacare in the House this week, Texas Rep. Pete Sessions tells Newsmax.TV that it's yet another sign of the growing outrage of American voters.

“Even the Democrats understand feedback back home that the free enterprise system — employers, people who want to grow their businesses — are having a difficult time doing so with the uncertainty,” declared Sessions in an exclusive interview on Thursday.

“Even Democrats are hearing from the business community: ‘We are not hiring because of Obamacare,’” said Sessions, pointing to the “massive” tax increase associated with the president’s healthcare law.

Watch our exclusive video. Story continues below.

“When America is in need of jobs, and when our children graduate from college and cannot find work, and when moms and dads and people all across this country are having difficult times, and you look up and you find out it’s because of the federal government, that’s good reason,” he said as to why Democrats crossed party lines on such high-profile legislation.

Sessions, who chairs the National Republican Congressional Committee, said that Obamacare is now likely to cost taxpayers twice as much as forecast 18 months ago.

“It’s something that government has put in front of business. It is something that we should not have to pay,” he charged. “Tax increases are destructive to not only job growth, but job creation. And the ability that Congress has to tax is the ability to destroy.”

He called the Obamacare tax “selective” and “very punitive,” adding that it is a tax that won’t go away on its own.

It is also certain to put additional pressure on states, which are already struggling to pay for existing services.

“Increasingly you’re seeing states get to the point where they simply cannot offer these services that Barack Obama has told them that they would do,” said Sessions. “They find themselves in conflict with the federal law. That’s another good reason why we need to repeal the bill because states do not have the money and the resources to take care of this new unfunded massive tax and unfunded liability on the states.”

Commenting on the president’s plan to hold two separate votes on the Bush-era tax cuts, he accused the president of attempting to further divide the country by class.

The president wants to hold separate votes on extending the tax cuts for people with household incomes above $250,000 and those below, he said.

“I think we ought to include in there Obamacare also,” Sessions insisted. “Obviously you and I understand that this is a further way to isolate employers, small business leaders, and others to try to divide this country rather than bringing it together.”

He said that the tax cuts are critical to America’s economic recovery.

“If we do not extend tax cuts — if America continues to have the highest tax rates — we will continue to lose jobs,” he predicted. “They’ll continue to go offshore where less-tax markets are, and we will become non-competitive in our future. And that’s simply a bad deal for America’s future and that of our children and grandchildren.”

Sessions believes that the economic downturn has reached crisis proportions.

“I think as we’ve seen the economy continue to not only become lethargic, we’re now seeing where it’s a crisis point as we move through summer into fall, into winter,” he said. “People now go for months and months without being able to find work. We have the lowest number of people working in the United States since 1982 and this is a national disaster.”

Sessions predicted that America will become more like Greece if President Obama is re-elected. “We simply must not allow that,” he said. “Every single American in looking out their front door can see Greece today.”

But he is optimistic that Republicans will regain control of the Senate and the White House in November. Given such a scenario, he said that lawmakers will not waste time during what would traditionally be considered a lame-duck session between the election and when the new administration takes office.

“Once we consult with the American people we will go through a due diligence process where we hold hearings,” he said.

“We go back and sell things back home. We make sure we know what’s in the bill before we pass it and the American people will understand what we’re doing — and so we should not have a rush to judgment as the Democrats did — but likewise we need to move diligently.”

Your Death Sentence

I had one of the most troubling, most disturbing conversations ever with Dr. Suzanne Allen, head of emergency services at the Johnson City Medical Center in Tennessee.  We were discussing the "future" and I asked her had she seen any effects of Obama Care in her work?

"Oh, yes.  We are seeing cutbacks throughout the services we provide.  For example, we are now having to deal with patients who would normally receive dialysis can no longer be accepted.  In the past, there was always automatic approval under Medicare for anyone who needed dialysis.  Not anymore."

So, what will be their outcome?  "They will die soon without dialysis," she stated.  What about other services
She indicated as of 2013 (after the election), no one over 75 will be given major medical procedures unless approved by locally administered Ethics Panels.  These Panels will determine whether a patient receives medical treatment or not.  Dr. Allen points out that most life-threatening emergencies do not occur during normal hospital business hours, and if there are emergencies that depend to be resolve within minutes or just few hours, the likelihood of getting these Panels approval in time to save a life are going to be very challenging and difficult, if not impossible she said.

This applies to major operations such as receiving stents, bypass surgery, kidney operations, or treating for an aneurysm that would be normally covered under Medicare today. In other words, if you needed a life-saving operation, Medicare will not provide coverage anymore after 2013, if you are 75 or over.  When in 2013?  "We haven't been given a specific date.  It could be in January or July, but it's after the election."  This is shocking to any of us who will be 75 this year.

Her advice, get healthy and stay healthy.  We do not know the specifics of the actual implementation of the full Obama Care policies and procedures.  "They haven't filtered down to the local level yet.  But we are already seeing severe cuts in what we provide to the elderly.  We refused dialysis to an individual who was 78 just the other day.  We refused to give stents to a gentleman who was in his late 80s.  Every day,” she said, “We are seeing these cutbacks aimed at reducing care across the board for anyone who is over 75.

We can only hope that Obama Care will be overturned by the Supreme Court.  Otherwise, this is a death sentence to those who are over 75.  “Perhaps you should pass this on to your friends who are thinking of voting for Obama this year.

Regardless if you have private health care coverage now, it will no longer apply after 2013 if the Ethics Panels disapprove of a procedure that may save your life.  Scary, scary, scary. Think about this?  You?  Your parents?  Your loved ones?

You didn't know about it?  Of course, not.  As Nancy Pelosi said, "Well, if you want to know what's in the bill, you'll have to read it."  After it was passed.

This is a graphic reminder of the need to stay healthy.  Get your plot now at Forest Lawn, while they last.  Is this a death sentence to those of us who will reach 75?  Yes!

Obama’s ‘Victory’ Could Spell His Defeat

Obama’s ‘Victory’ Could Spell His Defeat

Protesters and supporters gathered in front of the U.S. Supreme Court on the day the court handed down its ruling on Obamacare.
So Chief Justice John Roberts joined the liberal wing of the Supreme Court to decide that Obamacare, including the hugely unpopular “mandate,” is perfectly OK under the U.S. Constitution.
Now all three branches of the Federal government — the legislative, the executive and the judicial — have agreed to support the biggest expansion of government power in the history of this Republic. To say I’m aghast would be the understatement of the week.
Aghast, but not surprised. Let’s be honest: The Supreme Court has a lousy record of telling the Federal government it can’t do something. As far as the nine members of the Court are concerned, the 9th and 10th Amendments to the U.S. Constitution don’t exist.
Of course, Roberts had to twist the facts like a pretzel to justify the ruling. Barack Obama had insisted that Obamacare “absolutely” was  not a tax. The measure’s supporters in Congress said the same thing, over and over again.
Now comes the Supreme Court saying that of course it’s a tax. If it were to be judged based on the Commerce Clause or the Necessary and Proper Clause (two phrases in the Constitution that liberals love to use to justify every possible expansion of federal power), a majority of Court members said it would clearly be unConstitutional.
I’ll leave for another day speculation about why Roberts ruled as he did and gave himself the task of writing the majority opinion. Justices Anthony Kennedy, Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito dissented: “… to say that the Individual Mandate merely imposed a tax is not to interpret the statue but to rewrite it.”
Exactly. The bill’s defenders were desperately afraid that the Court would rule against Obamacare. When it didn’t, they were ecstatic.
But their glee won’t last for long. Two things are going to happen that will turn their rejoicing into anguish. One will occur later this year, the other further down the road.
The first will be massive Republican gains this fall. Consider: Before the Court’s ruling, some 55 percent to 60 percent of potential voters said they opposed Obamacare. Now that they know it will be shoved down their throats, they should be furious. Many of them are. Pollster Scott Rasmussen put it this way: “The conservative interest in the election was already much higher than that of moderates and liberals. It went up to really stratospheric levels right after the ruling.”
In the majority opinion, Roberts wrote something that will come back to haunt every liberal supporter of this odious law:
“We [the Court] possess neither the expertise nor the prerogative to make policy judgments. Those decisions are entrusted to our nation’s elected leaders, who can be thrown out of office if the people disagree with them. It is not our job to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices.”
Is there a single Democrat anywhere running for election this fall who will brag about foisting this massive tax increase on the country? I don’t think so. I predict we will see a ton of them “thrown out of office,” to quote the Chief Justice.
Fox News commentator Dick Morris put it this way: “So this really puts Obamacare front and center as the leading issue in the 2012 campaign. In a real sense it makes the 2012 campaign a carbon copy of the 2010 campaign — and we all know how that turned out.”
A lot of liberals are worried about this very thing. In a fundraising appeal on the eve of the Court’s decision, Ted Kennedy’s son Patrick predicted: “If the Court upholds the law, dangerous Tea Party extremists will go on a rampage.”
Don’t you just love the liberals’ scare tactics? Of course, no conservative will go on a rampage. The Tea Party types will do something the left will find much worse. They’ll vote — in larger numbers than ever before. And they’ll get a bunch of their friends and neighbors to do so as well.
Remember, the 2,300-page monstrosity that created Obamacare contains at least 21 tax increases. Estimates are that it costs taxpayers more than $800 billion. And get this: The majority of those increases will hit families earning less than $250,000 a year.
So much for Obama’s promise that his healthcare proposals would “never be purchased with [a] tax increase on middle-class families.” Tea Party favorite Sarah Palin used just four words to describe the situation: “Obama lies; freedom dies.”
When The Other Shoe Drops
What if I’m wrong and Republicans don’t enjoy enough legislative victories this year to repeal Obamacare?
If Obama wins re-election and the Democrats retain control of the Senate, I still think Obamacare will end up on the ash can of history. Here’s why.
Once Obamacare is fully in force and insurance companies are required to accept every possible applicant — no matter what pre-existing conditions they may have — you can bet that healthcare premiums will skyrocket.
When that happens, for many people it will be cheaper to simply pay the penalty rather than cough up the money for the premiums. After all, why shouldn’t they delay getting coverage until they actually need it? Just think what would happen if you could wait until your house was on fire to buy insurance on it. Who would be dumb enough to buy it before you needed it?
The only way to prevent this from happening is to make the penalties higher than the cost of insurance. But I don’t see that ever happening, even with a Congress filled with Nancy Pelosis and Harry Reids.
Margaret Thatcher once said, “Socialist governments traditionally do make a financial mess. They always run out of other people’s money. It’s quite a characteristic of them.”
That’s the same problem Obamacare will encounter. The faster the plan is put in place, the sooner it will collapse. Of course, in the meantime, the government will do everything in its power to keep us tax cows producing as much milk as possible. It won’t be pleasant having every last dollar it can grab squeezed out of us.
Rather than waiting until the iron bars are around your neck, locking you in place in the dairy barn, wouldn’t it be a good idea to accept Roberts’ challenge and get the law repealed?
The only way to do that is by replacing the people who passed it. Of course, that means starting in the White House. But that won’t be enough if the Democrats still control the Senate.
We’ve got our work cut out for us, folks. Better get busy.
Until next time, keep some powder dry.

POOPACARE

During dinner I came up with this quick fairy tale to explain Obamacare and the recent Supreme Court decision to my children, ages 12 to 0.5, (complete with me doing voices).
#
Once there was a kingdom, where the dumb son of a bitch in charge said, “Hey everybody should have cake! Cake is awesome!”
But others answered, “Yes, cake is awesome… I’m fond of mine. What’re you getting at?”
And they said, “It is sad that not everybody can have cake. So let’s mandate cake for everybody!”
“But we can’t afford to give everyone cake. Cake is expensive, and the kingdom is broke.”
“Oh, no. There’s plenty of cake to go around. Magic unicorns will make the cake cheaper for everyone, and then mandate that everybody has to buy our delicious cake.”
“Wait a second… First off I don’t think unicorns are real, and looking through this 2,000 page recipe, this isn’t cake. This is poop. I don’t want to eat poop cake.”
“No. It is delicious. And it is cheap. You’ll just have to pass the recipe to know what’s in it.”
“But the cake is made of poop. And it’s not cheap, it is the most expensive poop ever made.”
“Quit being racist. The cake is moist and wonderful, and it is mandatory that you have to buy it.”
“Well, most of us have cake, and 90% of us are happy with our cake. So just leave us the hell alone.”
“Nope. Can’t do that. We need to change your cake to the new improved recipe so we can all be equal, or we’ll send an IRS SWAT team to your house to kill your entire family. Isn’t cake wonderful?”
So the leaders of the kingdom decided to mandate cake for everyone and the stupid cheered. Yay cake!  Since this decision was rushed through in record time, and very few people had actually read the recipe, many people were upset to discover that the recipe was poop. In fact, it was the most expensive poop ever. So the people rose up and cast down record numbers of their leaders that had voted for the poop cake.
Sadly, there were still many stupid people who were expecting the big bucket of shit they’d placed into the oven to come out tasting like fresh strawberries and vanilla frosting in 2014. So the recipe stayed.
Finally the supreme court of the land decided to look at the recipe. The supreme judge read it and said, “This isn’t cake. This is clearly poop. However, you stupid bastards voted for it, which ain’t our problem, so shut up and enjoy your poop cake.”
And they all lived happily ever after, until the kingdom collapsed under the massive debt of their mandatory poop cake, everyone got sick and died. THE END.
